That’s how long it took 27 members of Birmingham University’s Wilderness Society to complete the gruelling three peaks challenge – climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in under 24 hours in support of Ammalife!
If driving 462 miles and climbing a total of 3407m in 24 hours was not challenging enough, life threw in heavy rain and wind, a permanent damp state, transport troubles and sleep deprivation to a very busy weekend.
Congratulations and a massive thank you to all those involved! Your valiant efforts raised £665 for the work of Ammalife, enabling us to support vulnerable mothers and their families across the world.
