Do you remember GLOWing in 2013?
We can’t wait for the next chance to catch up with conference delegates old and new on Wednesday 4th March, in celebration of International Women’s Day.
GLOW is for academics and postgraduate students engaged in global maternal, newborn, child and reproductive health. The annual GLOW conference provides an opportunity for academics to share their work, build collaborations and hear updates from prominent international speakers. This year the event is co-hosted by the MARCH Centre of London School Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the Institute for Women’s Health, UCL, with a theme of:
Reaching every woman, every newborn: the post-2015 research agenda
Keynote sessions include:
- – Women’s and Children’s health in the MDG era: what have we learnt? (Richard Horton)
- – Women’s and children’s health post 2015: where to for the next generation? (Joy Lawn)
- – Every Women Every Newborn: quality of care in reality (Matthews Mathai)
- – Learning from 15 years of maternal & perinatal death reviews in South Africa (Bob Pattinson and Gwyneth Lewis)
The conference programme brings together parallel workshops and oral presentations from a range of researchers, plus 40 poster displays!
